#What do the Red Frogs actually do?

Red Frogs is a support program that exists to serve and safeguard young people. Today’s youth live in a culture dominated by alcohol, drugs, social media and other pressures that can lead to dangerous and life-altering behaviours. That's where we come in.

You can find us at student residence halls, fraternity & sorority houses, festivals and hanging around your college campus. We’re the best friend you never knew you had!

You can book your hydration station or pancake cook up with loads of free stuff here. Or check out more about us in our what we do section.

What We Do

#How did Red Frogs start?

It all started in 1997 in Australia, when founder Andy Gourley was dropping in on a group of youth he was mentoring while they were at their end of school celebrations called "Schoolies" on the Gold Coast with his skateboarding mates and realized the need for a designated sober person at the massive drinking parties.

Check out the 'True Story' on our History page.

#Who are the Red Frog Volunteers?

A bunch of legends. Our volunteers are the heroes of Red Frogs USA and it takes hundreds of people nationally to provide programs each year. They devote their time to others and unite together to provide solutions, support and safety for this generation of young people.

#What are Red Frogs’ priority areas of work?

The Red Frogs USA program largely focuses on your time at University.

Whether it be at welcome week, move-in day or greek life parties you can find The Red Frog Crew handing out free food, water and being the support you need to get through your degree in one piece.
